Located on the cross streets of 50th & France, Raag is the only Indian fine dining Indian restaurant in MN. Raag means Symphony, bringing together culinary tastes and knowledge from Indian sub- continent, we offer a melodic mix of American, Persian, Mid-Eastern, British, French influenced dishes alongside reinvented Indian classics. With a Michelin trained executive chef Romila leading the kitchen, we offer Indian modern food which is authentic but also artistic. Restaurants like Raag were limited to New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington DC, London. Our company mission is to focus on Quality over Quantity, Flavor over Spice, Service over Buffet, Family over Checkbook. The restaurant changed ownership in 2022 to become this new brand of high-end Indian food, private events and featured regularly across all news channels in Minneapolis. 


Sohil Goorha, the current owner is a culinary school graduate, lived globally as a corporate executive & brought his unique experiences from his world travels when he took ownership. His co-owner daughter Cira (6) is often spotted at the restaurant with him. Local designer Kara Bigos of Kamarron Design created the interiors at Raag to be casual, inviting, and upscale. Our bar is an integral art feature and serves unique cocktails. Pair your meal with Kerala Spice Trail (Smoked Bourbon with Cinnamon), Neel Gagan (rum with blue curacao), Asian Superstar (Tequila with star ani seeds and pepper) or a nice wine recommended and served by our team. We host exclusive events from weddings to graduations to fundraisers. Ask our team for more details to book your special day!
